Based in Himalayas - and nurturing and promoting the Himalayan respect for life and the search for the co-existence and collaboration of man and nature in harmony, PVS seeks ecologically and economically viable pattens to meet global challenges. Ranging from plantations to comunity services, the organisation has evolved since its founding in 1994, into a major Non Governmental organisation working on the hImalayas and expanding into the neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan. 

What We Do

Indian Himalayas

 Sikkim 

• We operate an organic large-cardamom nursery and have set up Sikkim's first large-cardamom processing and extraction unit to benefit the local farmers.Taking into cluster approach of the farming community of this exotic spice

• An export oriented unit for bamboo shoot processing is also underway.

• PVS has also undertaken the task of building a Tribal School in Sikkim for which preliminary groundwork has already begun.

• It runs a Large cardamom plantation spread over 300 acres of land in South Sikkim. A eco reort is also being developed in rabongla South Sikkim.

Uttaranchal 

• We have a 1000 acre farm in Chaukori, Kumaon, where organic farming and organic tea cultivation are being carried out in consonance with an eco-resort.
